Les lettres romanes, fondées en 1947, sont consacrées à l’étude scientifique des littératures romanes. Elles publient trimestriellement, jusqu'en 2024, des articles originaux, des comptes rendus critiques de revues et de livres. À partir de 2025, la revue publie un seul numéro par an, composé d'un dossier thématique et d'une section Varia.
Les Lettres Romanes is a journal dedicated to the study of Romance literature, with a particular focus on the history of Romance literary traditions. The journal features articles, critical reviews of books and journals, as well as bibliographical notes, which together form an annual volume of approximately 400 pages. An issue might comprise double volumes.
