This February, we celebrate Art History at Brepols. We would like to take this opportunity to highlight our valued collaboration with KIK-IRPA, Belgium's Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (Koninklijk Instituut voor het Kunstpatrimonium ‒ KIK in Dutch and Institut royal du Patrimoine artistique ‒ IRPA in French).
As a federal non-profit institution, KIK-IRPA is dedicated to the research, preservation, and restoration of Belgium’s artistic and historical heritage. KIK-IRPA's mission is to carefully pass on the precious gift of the past to future generations. One aspect of this mission is the publication of several scholarly book series, available via Brepols, which you can discover below:
Scientia Artis
The works in this series – monographs, exhibition catalogues and conference proceedings – present the results of research projects and scientific events (co) organized by KIK-IRPA.
