This series provides a forum for the publication of peer-reviewed, original research in archaeology conducted by the University of Warsaw, Poland. Volumes in this series showcase a ground-breaking wealth of evidence, interpretations, and perspectives that open up new horizons into our understanding of the peoples and material cultures of the past, from the ancient world to post-medieval times, and from Europe and the Mediterranean to the Near East, Asia, Africa, and pre-Columbian America. Open to both scholarly monographs and thematic edited collections, Warsaw Studies in Archaeology welcomes research that offers new insights into human societies of the past from a broad range of disciplines that include not only archaeology and archaeometry, but also fields with a strong archaeological component, among them history, anthropology, economy, art, architecture, and cultural heritage.
