Accepts Contributions in Open Access
Founded in 1872 by Domenico Pezzi and Giuseppe Müller in conjunction with the publishing house, Loescher Editore, the Rivista di Filologia e di Istruzione Classica, under the direction of Gaetano De Sanctis and Augusto Rostagni, became one of the most important and prestigious periodicals in the field of Ancient Greek and Roman studies. Thanks to its well-established tradition, its constant attention to meeting new expectations, its eye for changing trends, and its adoption of the latest research tools, RFIC aims to remain a solid reference point in classical studies on an international level.
RFIC is issued twice a year, and publishes research and reviews of a high scholarly standard. Contributions must be related to philological, literary, historical, and archaeological aspects of the ancient Greek and Roman world and of the world of Late Antiquity. The journal welcomes submissions written in the main languages traditionally used in the world of scholarship, accompanied by an abstract in English. Articles may contain tables, diagrams, and black-and-white photographs.
All articles will undergo peer review before they are accepted.
