Her research is focused on courtly literature in medieval France, medieval vernacular translations, and the reception of antiquity during the Middle Ages.

    Summary

This volume explores the circulation of objects, texts, languages, techniques, and cultural practices in and outside late medieval Venice. Through a multidisciplinary approach, it examines how these exchanges shaped Venetian identities and reinforced the city’s role as a major Mediterranean hub between East and West. Particular attention is given to the relationship between local practices, transregional networks, and processes of cultural innovation.
