Studies in the Visual Cultures of the Middle Ages is a book series dedicated to publishing innovative work on art and architecture from late antiquity through the late Middle Ages. Investigations that take a cross-cultural or interdisciplinary perspective on any aspect of European, Byzantine, Islamicate, or Jewish visual and material cultures are encouraged. Monographs, thematic studies, and multi-author essay collection are welcome.
