Archeion was founded in Rome in 1919 by its editor Aldo Mieli (1879-1950), and had a great influence on the process for the internationalization of the study of the history of science. The journal offers a repository of information that provides an understanding of the connection which was gradually established between European countries through
congresses, reviews, associations and scientific societies.
La revue Archeion, fondée a Rome en 1919 par Aldo Mieli (1879-1950), eut une influence importante sur le processus d’internationalisation de l’étude de l’histoire des sciences. Dans la revue sont répertoriés les colloques, les comptes rendus, les sociétés et les associations créés des la fin du 19e siecle dans le domaine de l’histoire des sciences.
