Brepols Publishers celebrates 10 years in Greece as we move to a new office.

On 14 June 2022, Brepols Publishers has officially inaugurated its new offices in the presence of an extensive delegation of colleagues from Turnhout, together with members of the Board of Directors, the Belgian consul, and colleagues and collaborators who have been especially invited for the celebration. Our 25 Greek employees will move to modern offices near the airport.

Over the course of the last decade, Brepols’ Greek office has become an essential component of our operations, with work in Thessaloniki being wholly integrated with our activities in Turnhout, as well as our offices in Nottingham and Los Angeles. We have built up an organization for technically optimizing, editing, and enriching authors' Word files with hyperlinks, metadata, and producing files that are ultimately converted into high-end print files and e-books. This process is supported by state-of-the-art technology and is carried out by a team of highly trained specialist. Our in-house IT team in Thessaloniki develops the necessary software to underpin this work, as well as working on other innovative developments in close collaboration with colleagues in Turnhout. In this way, Brepols is able to continue to transform its traditional knowledge and expertise in the humanities for the digital future.
