Brepols is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Chairman and Managing Director.

Paul De Jongh, who has served as Managing Director for 19 years, will now take on the role of Chairman of the Board. Alexander Sterkens has been appointed as the new Managing Director.

Alexander Sterkens studied History at Ghent University and obtained an Executive Master in Business Administration from the Antwerp Management School. He has worked as Publishing Manager for 9 years and has been a part of the Management Team at Brepols in recent years.

Paul De Jongh has been with Brepols Publishers since 1998, initially as General Manager and later as Managing Director.
