The leading bibliography of the European Middle Ages (c. 400-1500) The International Medieval Bibliography was founded in 1967 with the support of the Medieval Academy of America, with the aim of providing a comprehensive, current bibliography of articles in journals and miscellany volumes (conference proceedings, essay collections or Festschriften) worldwide. The “International Medieval Institute”, based at the University of Leeds, is responsible for producing the bibliography. A unique network of over 50 specialist contributors and teams throughout the world ensures regular coverage of periodicals and miscellanies published worldwide. They are supported by a distinguished international Editorial Board. The IMB now comprises 300,000 articles, all of which are fully classified by date, subject and location, and provide full bibliographical records. Now online, with its new user friendly interface and many new search features , the IMB offers an unparalleled tool for medievalists to identify the contents of current work published throughout Europe, the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region. La principale bibliographie du Moyen-Age européen (c. 400-1500)« L’International Medieval Bibliography » a été créée en 1967 dans le but de fournir une bibliographie courante d'articles parus dans les revues et miscellanea (actes de conférences, volumes de mélanges ou collections d'articles) du monde entier. « The International Medieval Institute » de l’Université de Leeds est responsable pour la production de la bibliographie. Un réseau unique de plus de 50 instituts et collaborateurs en venant du monde entier, assure le traitement des articles publiés en Europe, en Amérique, au Moyen Orient, au Japon et en Australie.
