In recent years the notion of materiality has come to the fore in the art historical debate, redefining the boundaries of the discipline and increasing its interdisciplinary character. It has promoted new methodological approaches, and an inclusive interest for a broader range of cultural artefacts. The present series aims to contribute to this debate.
