Studies in Viking and Medieval Scandinavia (VMSS)

The momentum gained by the new journal, Viking and Medieval Scandinavia, has generated enthusiasm by scholars in Scandinavia and elsewhere. Interest in the journal is high and article-length contributions are flowing in. In order to keep a good disciplinary mix in each issue of the journal it is not possible to use the annual volume for 'special issue' purposes. For this reason the Editorial Board of VMS has established a separate series, Studies in Viking and Medieval Scandinavia, which welcomes proposals for occasional monographs or thematic collections in this area of research.
