This series is devoted to Flemish painting and drawing, c.1550-1700.
The dominant artists of this fruitful period were Bruegel, Rubens and
Van Dyck. Yet considering the attention that has been accorded to
artistic developments of the time in other European countries,
especially Holland and Italy, Flemish art remains relatively
underexposed.
