ABOUT

This series investigates the development, transmission, and use of narratives and narrative motifs in secular and vernacular contexts. It explores the movement of stories and ideas, and how these narratives are reshaped in different media and in different languages and cultures throughout medieval Europe. Volumes that consider single narratives or ideas being translated and reimagined are welcomed, as are those that explore a range of traditions as they manifest in a single specific context. The series thereby aims to provide a forum for publications on the relationships between the content, form, and media of medieval narratives as they intersect with social, cultural, and linguistic contexts.
