ABOUT

Over the last century, research on China's link with western civilizations across Eurasia has made dramatic progress. No longer is East-West contact seen solely as part of Silk Road Studies but as a specialized branch of contact history. The new series explores new areas of contacts through the study of new texts (especially of religious texts like Nestorian documents) and of archaeological discoveries and numismatic finds. The series will also include thematic comparative studies and conference proceedings as well as major reference works like bibliographies and lexica.
