The leading bibliography of the European Middle Ages (c. 400-1500) The International Medieval Bibliography was founded in 1967 with the support of the Medieval Academy of America, with the aim of providing a comprehensive, current bibliography of articles in journals and miscellany volumes (conference proceedings, essay collections or Festschriften) worldwide. The "International Medieval Institute", based at the University of Leeds, is responsible for producing the bibliography. A unique network of over 50 specialist contributors and teams throughout the world ensures regular coverage of periodicals and miscellanies published worldwide. They are supported by a distinguished international Editorial Board. The IMB now comprises 300,000 articles, all of which are fully classified by date, subject and location, and provide full bibliographical records.
La principale bibliographie du Moyen-Age européen (c. 400-1500) " L'International Medieval Bibliography " a été créée en 1967 dans le but de fournir une bibliographie courante d'articles parus dans les revues et miscellanea (actes de conférences, volumes de mélanges ou collections d'articles) du monde entier. " The International Medieval Institute " de l'Université de Leeds est responsable pour la production de la bibliographie.
