The Thesaurus Formarum - Cetedoc Index of Latin Forms (TF-CILF) is a fundamental tool for studying the lexical characteristics of all European languages. It is a revolutionary tool, containing 65 million forms, drawn from the entirety of ancient Latin literature, from the literature of the patristic period, from a vast body of medieval material (including in particular the opera omnia of Thomas Aquinas), and from collections of Neo-Latin works. The TF-CILF will become an indispensable tool for studying Latin and other languages derived from Latin or influenced by Latin. This is most particularly the case for the Romance languages. TF-CILF 1 has been developed in collaboration with Cetedoc.Cetedoc has been founded by the Université Catholique de Louvain at Louvain-la-Neuve and was developed jointly with the university.
