Popular piety has been the object of much research in recent years. In
order to make available to readers the bibliography that has been
lacking, the Coordinated Research Group of the CNRS (for Modern and
Contemporary Religious History), has set out to compile an annotated
bibliography of popular piety from the Middle Ages to the
present.
